GOSO’s SAVE Brings Awareness to Gun Violence

On June 7th, SAVE hosted our third annual Gun Violence Awareness Day event to raise awareness about gun violence and pay tribute to those who lost their lives to it. Nearly 15 community partners, including RISE, Art in the Park, Giant Thinking, and Not Another Child, joined us as we welcomed community residents to participate in this year’s gathering.

Our Chief Advocacy Officer, Omar Jackson, and Director of Programs, Nicole Myers, addressed the crowd, discussing how we can work together to make East Harlem a safer community. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the important work that GOSO’s SAVE program does every day to keep the streets of East Harlem a little safer.
