Not far from the GOSO offices on East 116th Street — just a short subway ride north, in fact! — is an urban oasis like none other: the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Recently, GOSO staff ventured there with two GOSO Guys, Albert and Robert, for an afternoon of calm and relaxation. Strolling the lawns, scrambling over boulders and beholding the beautiful architecture of the greenhouses, our guys said they found the experience to be therapeutic. Afterwards, we refueled with lunch on nearby Arthur Avenue, at the famous restaurant Dominick’s. According to one of our guys, Robert, it was “the best chicken of my life!”
