Shaquala Santiago, LMSW, Career Manager and Director of Mentoring and Vocational Programming
Shaquala provides education, employment, and supportive counseling to participants in the community-based program. In addition to her case management responsibilities, she oversees the expansion and implementation of our mentorship program, as well the development of trade/vocational training opportunities for participants. Ms. Santiago received her MSW with Advanced Standing from Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work and has extensive experience working with at-risk youth. Prior to joining GOSO, she was Associate Program Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC where she supervised 60 mentor relationships.
